Emily Catalano was not to be missed in her geometric BCBG pants at Stoddards Food & Ale. Emily loves pairing a simple piece with a fun bold print and adding a pop of color like her contrasting cognac belt seen above. Fall is her absolute favorite season for style and you can catch her this fall sporting over-sized tops, funky print bottoms, and ankle boots while simultaneously dreaming of buying the entire Dannijo jewelry collection to pair with her outfits.

Carly Loman, Emerson student and intern at Future Alliance Boston , caught my attention with her colorful gem embelllished denim vest. Her friend Ashley Giorgi often puts her own flare on clothing and  this particular piece Carly had to have! D.I.Y. accents on clothes is a personal favorite of mine and certainly a hot current trend but I found this particular piece unique. Carly loves wearing simple black clothing and adding a super girly piece to the outfit to personalize for herself.

Claire Millar, full-time model from Boston loves leather and knows how to rock it year-round. I loved how she paired a simple tank, leather vest, maxi skirt, and gladiator sandals making a perfect edgy yet feminine outfit for summer! Check out her studded bangle & skull ring that are to die for!

PLNDR buyer, Ekom Ekwere loves shopping in her boyfriends closet but I think it's safe to say she makes the clothes her own. Wooden heels are a definite spring/summer must have and I love how Ekom rocked this particular pair so confidently!

Boys Like Girls

More often than not I find myself especially admiring the style of musicians. Traveling internationally gives them a unique and eclectic taste while their exuberant personalities and lifestyle allows them to pull things off the "average Joe" wouldn't dare. I recently hung with native Massachusetts rock band Boys Like Girls while they had some down time before the 2012 Fall release of their new album Crazy Love.

Boys Like Girls drummer John Keefe embraces fashion and clothes and it clearly shows. I love the sharp and sophisticated look John achieved by layering his blazer and cuffing his sleeves and jeans. His Packard Western Boots purchased at Rick Walkers on Newbury Street gave the outfit some edge and are one of his favorite pair! 

Although he might be new to the band, bassist Morgan Dorr is no newcomer to fashion, having once made Boston Magazine's Best Dressed list. I love how Morgan paired brown boots with black jeans and black jeans with a jean jacket (following me?) These pairings are some of my personal favorites as well!

Paul DiGiovanni, guitarist for Boys Like Girls has that classic rockstar look with a modern twist. Plaid shirt, tight jeans, and combat boots is something we can all spot and identify with musical muses like Paul!
